Christian Moser’s Monsters & Memoirs
A Commemorative Exhibition 19 – 22 June 2014 Opening Hours: Thu, noon–7pm; Fri/Sat, 10am–7pm; Sun 10am–6pm Ladengalerie Einkaufszentrum Neuer Markt
He discovered the monsters in us – strange, often disgruntled, sometimes rather scared beings, such as the Hypochondria, the Inconsistency, or the Minor Ailment – the “Monsters of Everyday Life”. He was a regular guest at the International Comic Salon in Erlangen, he cooperated closely with the Nuremberg comic shop “Ultra Comix”, and he processed anxieties with the children of the Altdorf AWO after school center. Then, in the summer of 2013, he was struck by a deadly heart attack. Since then, there is a gap – not only in monster research. On the occasion of the 16th Erlangen International Comic Salon, Christian Moser will be commemorated as the versatile and endearing artist he was.
